About the Role:

The Industry Segment Manager will be responsible for owning the Global Industry Segment strategy and driving profitable growth of the Industry Segment. This role requires a balance of strong strategic acumen and technical sales expertise. The successful candidate will be measured on a shadow PL, driving execution of the Global Industry Segment strategy while establishing a high-quality commercial culture and harmonizing our working methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the Global Industry Segment strategy, providing strategic direction and collaborating with Industry Segment team members on all levels.
  • Own the Industry Segment specific product portfolio and value proposition, including global campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial leads to execute and live the Industry Segment strategy.
  • Support Regional / Market Area / Country commercial teams in critical customer meetings/projects.
  • Identify customer needs, provide input to RD, and collaborate with PTD on innovation.
  • Define target market price and support in project / special prices for Industry Segment product portfolio.
  • Lead, coordinate, and track Industry Segment specific product launches based on best practices.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering and/or business administration (min 4-year degree, reputable university).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an international commercial leadership role, including technical sales.
  • Experience leading global teams in an international collaborative business environment.
  • Experience working at a manufacturer or OEM within the Paper Industry (particularly segments like Board Converting, Paper Printing Finishing).
  • Experience working in a multi-channel business environment.
