Position Overview: The Central Finance Department of Yokohama TWS Group is seeking a Finance & Control Manager who will report directly to the Finance & Control Director. This position encompasses both financial reporting and business controlling responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Consolidation and Reporting:
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, as well as consolidation activities for the YTWS Group.
- Implement and execute consistency checks for subsidiaries at a consolidated level, collaborating with country finance directors.
- Generate periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders within YTWS and the Yokohama Group.
- Oversee the administration of the YTWS reporting and consolidation tool, SAP BPC, in collaboration with team members.
- Enhance financial processes and tools to achieve operational efficiency while adhering to internal control policies.
Business Controlling:
- Manage the controlling, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the OPEX and CAPEX of the Yokohama TWS Headquarters functions.
- Engage in business partnering with the heads of HQ Functions to facilitate cost control and proactively address potential budgetary concerns.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to build trust and ensure transparent communication.
- Guarantee the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
- Support the Central Finance Team in developing the consolidated forecast, budget, and multi-year financial plan for the YTWS Group.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in accounting or business administration.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a controlling role, preferably within an international organization.
- Basic understanding of IFRS concepts is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables, with skills to be assessed during the selection process.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- A collaborative team player.
- Strong analytical skills with an organized and structured approach.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as interaction with various stakeholders in a flat organizational structure is common.
