Overview:

About the Position

In this role, you will engage in close collaboration with essential supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, customer service, and manufacturing. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing replenishment strategies and inventory levels across distribution centers.

You will track performance metrics and make necessary adjustments, ensuring effective communication of plans with relevant stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates in Supply Chain who are eager to embark on a career in Supply Planning within an international context.

About the Team/Department

As a Supply Planning Intern, you will contribute to the management of finished goods inventory activities within the European region.

Key Responsibilities:

You will assist our Supply Planning Team in learning how to:

  • Develop action plans to enhance inventory optimization across various locations.
  • Generate insightful inventory analyses and reports utilizing ERP and reporting tools.
  • Oversee the ERP system, adjusting market allocations as needed based on regional guidelines.
  • Track inbound shipments from manufacturing and suppliers.
  • Ensure product availability at European warehouses and conduct weekly replenishment activities.
  • Support global supply planning initiatives from a regional perspective.
  • Initiate and drive improvements in ERP and related processes.
  • Engage proactively with Customer Service and local supply chain teams.
  • Participate in and organize regular operational reviews focusing on quality and enhancements.
  • Update monthly KPIs and conduct root cause analyses on significant supply chain losses.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and Italian.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills being an advantage.
