American Express International Card Services (ICS) stands as the global leader in Commercial Payments Solutions, continuing to expand rapidly in this dynamic sector.

Within our Commercial Organization, we seek a driven, self-sufficient, and seasoned Sales Acquisition Specialist focused on expanding our clientele in the North East region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a pipeline of corporate prospects, acquiring new clients with a proactive sales approach, and fostering relationships with senior decision-makers. This role requires leading sales strategies, signing new clients, and developing marketing plans aimed at enhancing charge volume in Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and B2B negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in prospecting through cold calling and networking to establish new contacts within the financial and payments sectors.
  • Generate leads through partnerships to facilitate introductions to potential clients.
  • Employ a consultative sales methodology to identify and address client needs.
  • Present our value proposition and effectively close sales through strong negotiation skills.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Build a robust pipeline consisting of high-value opportunities.
  • Accurately manage and forecast sales activities using SalesForce.
  • Navigate multiple complex sales cycles effectively.
  • Meet sales activity requirements, including presentations, proposals, and quotas.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions, including credit, risk, legal, compliance, and pricing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven sales expertise with three to five years of experience in T&E sales within the North East region.
  • A structured approach to sales and the ability to develop strategies in new industries.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving commercial results.
  • A strong track record of building a sales pipeline and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in strategic and consultative selling.
  • Extensive experience in cold calling and field activities across the territory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
  • High motivation and the capability to inspire others, managing your own pipeline effectively.
  • Proven experience in senior-level selling and negotiation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive personal success.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English.
  • Familiarity with PC software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a service-oriented company.
