American Express International Card Services (ICS) stands as the global leader in Commercial Payments Solutions, continuously evolving within a dynamic and fast-paced sector.

We are seeking a driven and self-sufficient Sales Acquisition Specialist to enhance our customer base, particularly in the North East region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a pipeline of corporate prospects, demonstrating a strong proactive approach to acquiring new clients, and establishing relationships with senior decision-makers. Your role will involve leading sales strategies, signing new clients, and developing marketing plans aimed at expanding charge volume opportunities in Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and B2B negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prospecting through cold calling and networking to identify new contacts within the financial and payments sector.
  • Generate leads through partnerships to facilitate introductions to potential clients.
  • Employ a consultative sales methodology to uncover client needs.
  • Present our value proposition and close sales effectively.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Build a pipeline of multi-million dollar opportunities.
  • Accurately manage and forecast sales activities using SalesForce.
  • Navigate multiple complex sales cycles.
  • Meet sales activity requirements, including presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions such as credit, risk, legal, compliance, and pricing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in T&E within the North East region, ideally spanning three to five years.
  • Ability to develop structured sales approaches tailored to new industries.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving commercial results.
  • A track record of building a sales pipeline and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in strategic and consultative selling.
  • Extensive cold calling and field activity experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • High motivation and the ability to inspire others, while managing your own pipeline effectively.
  • Demonstrated senior-level selling and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to influence and collaborate with others.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English.
  • Familiarity with PC software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a similar role within a solution or service-oriented company.
