Job Summary

The Restaurant Service Manager, also known as the Dining Room Supervisor, is a key role within the CARDO ROMA, AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION team. This position is responsible for ensuring that the dining room service meets the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and refinement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the service in the dining room, ensuring that all standards are met.
  • Coordinate the room staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless dining experience.
  • Manage the wait staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude, ensuring that guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Oversee the mise en place of tables, ensuring that every detail is impeccable.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, ensuring that each course is presented perfectly.
  • Take care of the clearing of tables and the serving of food and drinks.
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring that every guest's needs are met.
  • Perform all typical tasks of a waiter, including taking orders, carrying and serving dishes.
Requirements
  • 3 years of previous work experience as a Restaurant Service Manager or equivalent role.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and provide guidance and support.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of serving techniques, table mise en place, and etiquette rules.
