About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to join our team at Glovo. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our partner base through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales growth strategy to increase net sales, market share, and net-new revenue.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for the team, evaluating performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure we are meeting our commercial objectives.
  • Work closely with the Market Intelligence team to identify and prioritize sales opportunities, ensuring we are targeting the right partners and customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this information to inform our sales strategy and drive growth.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in managing high-performing commercial teams, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and expansion.
  • Strong leadership and business fundamentals, with the ability to develop and execute a sales strategy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to succeed and drive growth.
  • Native Italian and English full professional proficiency.
