Orienta S.p.A. - Agenzia per il Lavoro is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for a prominent client operating in the production sector in the BAT province.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with a solid experience in the production sector, specifically in pasta or milling, to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management: Supervise all aspects of the quality control process, from raw material inspection to final product control, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
- Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, from milling to extrusion and drying of pasta, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring product quality consistency.
- Lab Testing and Analysis: Conduct or supervise laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including moisture content, gluten strength, and texture analysis, to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with current food safety regulations, including HACCP, BRC, ISO, and other industry standards. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests, audits, and inspections. Generate detailed reports for management, highlighting trends, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
- Team Supervision and Training: Lead and train the quality control team, providing guidance on best practices, new testing methods, and quality standards. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and quickly address any quality issues that arise during production, collaborating with the production team to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Experience: In the milling industry, with a focus on quality control in the food industry, specifically in pasta production or milling.
- Techincal Skills: Solid knowledge of pasta production processes, including raw material quality, extrusion, drying, and packaging. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, BRC, ISO, and local food safety laws.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in team management, project management, and promoting continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, suppliers, and clients.
- Education: A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
