**The Role**
The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant will also bridge the gap to our Professional Services team, gathering and refining integration requirements, helping deliver quick, accurate proposals that address complex needs without compromising on speed. Ultimately, this role will have a direct impact on revenue generation while elevating the client experience from initial engagement through to successful implementation.
**Responsibilities**
- Engage prospects and customers alongside our commercial teams to understand their spend processes, uncover inefficiencies, and communicate the business impact of Soldo’s solution. Collaborate with AEs and CSMs to demonstrate how Soldo can both re-engineer processes as well as complement existing workflows managed by their current finance tech stack.
- Translate functionalities into clear business outcomes, building ROI analyses and cost-benefit cases that resonate with both financial and senior management stakeholders.
- Support the commercial teams in delivering tailored, high-impact demos that illustrate the capabilities of Soldo’s spend management platform and how it can integrate seamlessly with existing systems across HRIS, ERP, accounting and more. Design and deliver POCs to demonstrate the solution’s feasibility and address in-depth technical questions.
- Support the sales cycle by contributing to formal proposals, clearly articulating how Soldo’s solution addresses the prospect's requirements.
- Gather technical and operational requirements for integrations and custom configurations, collaborating with Professional Services to issue implementation quotes and plan project handover.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to align product capabilities with market needs and ensure consistent messaging. Gather insights from customer engagements and share them with the Product team to inform platform enhancements.
**We're looking for someone who must have**
- Proven experience in a Solutions Consulting or Pre-Sales role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to challenge customer assumptions and articulate a clear business case for change.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating credibility, confidence, and the ability to engage and influence both technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers in the Finance function (CFOs, Finance Directors and Finance Managers).
- Commercial acumen with the ability to construct compelling business cases, articulate ROI, and influence buying decisions.
- Familiarity with financial business processes such as supplier payments, T&E management, or procure-to-pay workflows, including practical knowledge of day-to-day Finance activities in order to speak credibly to relevant teams.
- Technical acumen sufficient to scope integrations and understand APIs, connectors, and associated project requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ERP, or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and how these integrate with external platforms.
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset that embraces complexity and drives for successful outcomes in cross-functional settings.
