For Our company in Milan (Italy) we are looking for a
**Demand Planning & Distribution Specialist**.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The
** **Demand Planning & Distribution Specialist is responsible, in coordination with the supervisor, for managing the Demand Planning process and the activities of distribution warehousing related to the Primary Care Italy Business Unit.

**Main area of responsabilities of the Role**:

- Performs the Rolling Demand calculation for each SKU as a requirement both for internal production plant and external suppliers to ensure the required levels of stock and to allow Supply Planning and Procurement departments to set up suitable production & procurement plans;
- Elaborates monthly statistical forecast of demand for the Primary Care Italy Business Unit using a dedicated tool: the base-line output is released to the Commercial Excellence department for the monthly validation of the operational forecast;
- Supports Line Manager in coordinating the Sales & Operations Planning meeting;
- Contribute to develop and update the reporting related to the main Demand Planning KPI’s (Stock Coverage, Back-orders, Forecast Accuracy);
- Ensures that the operations of the Primary Care warehouse are carried out in compliance with GDP regulations and internal SOPs
- Manages the logistic activities related to warehouses of the secondary distribution partner in Italy (inbound, picking, returns loading etc.), ensuring the alignment between the logical warehouses of the distribution partner and those of the ERP Dompé (SAP)
- Ensures operational relationship with Customer Service Team and with Warehouse Team of the secondary distribution partner in Italy
- Collaborates with the internal departments of the Supply Planning, Site Planning & Logistics to ensure the compliance with the timing and procedures for inbound materials.
- Supports Line Manager on contract and budget topics related to secondary distribution;
- Support Line Manager during year-end warehouse inventory;
- Manages Stock Value Risk Management process for the finished products and promotional materials of Primary Care Business Unit.

**Qualifications and other requirements**:

- Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics;
- At least 3 years’ experience in Demand Planning and Distribution roles are required;
- Will be a plus previous experience in healthcare industry, in particular pharmaceutical companies, life science in the same area;
- Knowledge of SAP warehouse module;
- Experience in demand modeling;
- Analytical skills with experience collecting, processing and analyzing a variety of qualitative and quantitative data sets;
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management and distribution (inbound, outbound, deliveries, returns, picking);
- Problem-Solving attitude, flexibility to adapt to continuous changing requirements and environments.
