HoscoThe Director of Sales oversees hotel sales strategies by driving growth initiatives, tracking performance, and ensuring the property maintains a strong competitive position in the local market.What will I be doing?As Director of Sales, you are responsible for working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels.The Director of Sales is responsible for cultivating a strong sales culture and developing a high-performing sales team.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Develop and manage hotel sales plans that accurately reflect and support business objectives, using these plans to guide sales efforts across all market segments, including Leisure, Groups and Meetings & Events.Proactively prospect and generate new business with a strong focus on leisure markets through outbound calls, client visits, trade shows and roadshows to expand key relationships with both local and international travel partners.Collaborates closely with the Groups, Meetings & Events Department to generate and convert business for groups, congresses and social events, mainly weddings.Work in close alignment with the Reservations and Groups & Events teams to optimise market segment pricing and availability, assess business needs and actively steer initiatives that deliver an exceptional guest experience.Plan and, when appropriate, execute sales trips to key existing markets while identifying new potential areas for growth.Manage RFPs and lead contract negotiations for FITs, wholesalers and high-end travel agencies.Coordinate and host familiarisation (FAM) trips and site inspections for travel agents and strategic partners.Foster team growth through effective leadership and leading by example, including driving sales development; take an active role in recruiting team members and supporting their long-term success.Actively participate and complete the preparation of the annual Sales Plan, monthly updates and the hotels' annual budgets.Act as a role model and inspire the hotel team through leading by example.What are we looking for?A Director of Sales serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow:Highly skilled in all modes of communication: spoken, written and non-verbal.Demands a broad network of connections and in-depth familiarity with leading luxury consortia.Ability to remain composed and objective under pressure, including tight deadlines and demanding travel schedules.Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in other languages is an asset.Excellent organisational and planning skills.Strong leadership skills, showing that you can effectively manage and motivate a team to perform beyond expectations.Strong analytical skills so you can understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges.Excellent selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to all Team Members.Demonstrated previous experience in a Sales and Leadership role with the proven ability to drive results.Committed to the highest standards of quality and performance.Self-motivated and self-driven with a proactive approach.Background in lifestyle or luxury hospitality is a plusIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Extensive knowledge of the local market.Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.A passion for hospitality and target-based performance.Relevant degree in sales, business development, hospitality or another relevant business field from an academic institution.What will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.For nearly a century Hilton has offered business and leisure travellers the finest in accommodations, service, amenities and value.Hilton is dedicated to continuing its tradition of providing exceptional guest experiences across its global brands.Our vision "to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality" unites us as a team to create remarkable hospitality experiences around the world every day.And our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it all.Settore: Hotel/TurismoRuolo: Commerciale/Vendite#J-*****-Ljbffr
