Overview Pastry Chef San Clemente Palace Venice – Provincia di Venezia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, ItaliaSan Clemente Palace Venice is a luxury resort housed in a 900-year-old historic building with Renaissance influences.The property features restored monastic structures, a 12th-century chapel, expansive gardens, 196 rooms and suites, and renowned dining venues.The hotel regularly hosts art installations in conjunction with the Venice Biennale and offers a blend of traditional Italian cuisine with refined gourmet experiences across multiple outlets.Role DescriptionAs Pastry Chef, you will lead the pastry kitchen and oversee the creation of desserts, pastries, breads, and specialty items for all dining outlets and events.You will ensure the highest culinary standards, inspire creativity, and maintain the luxury quality that defines the resort's gastronomic identity.ResponsibilitiesLeading the pastry team and overseeing daily pastry operations across all outletsCreating refined desserts, pastries, and bakery items aligned with the hotel's luxury standardsDesigning seasonal menus, special selections, and unique signature creationsEnsuring impeccable presentation, taste, and consistency of all pastry productsManaging production for breakfast, restaurants, banquets, room service, and special eventsTraining, mentoring, and supervising pastry team membersOverseeing stock control, ordering, and maintaining supplier relationshipsImplementing rigorous hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures (HACCP)Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and F&B teams on menu developmentMonitoring cost control, waste management, and production efficiencyEnsuring a creative, professional, and motivating work environmentWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience as Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Sous Chef in luxury hospitality or fine diningExceptional pastry and dessert-making skills with a strong artistic senseExpertise in modern and classic pastry techniquesStrong leadership, creativity, and team development abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsDeep understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and food safetyAbility to work efficiently during peak production timesPassion for innovation, presentation, and delivering memorable culinary momentsFluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus)What We OfferA leading culinary role within one of Europe's most prestigious luxury hotelsOpportunity to create high-end pastry experiences in a stunning historical settingCompetitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development and culinary training opportunitiesAccommodation, meals, uniform, and other on-property benefitsA dynamic, supportive, and international team environmentApplyReady to bring your creativity and expertise to our award-winning culinary team?Send your CV and cover letter to:#J-*****-Ljbffr
