Due to continued growth, we are expanding our sales team and are seeking a driven sales professional with proven experience of creating net new business opportunities in the IT industry

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, tenacious and self-motivated sales professional who is hungry for sales success.

Your main responsibilities :

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

Actively search for new customers and build a pipeline of opportunities based on various sales activities (face2face meetings, LinkedIn and other social media channels, email, telephone, events etc.) Manage the entire sales process from first contact to deal closure Relationship building: ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with C-level clients (CEO, CIO, CTO). Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prospects (to close the deal) Take part in the defining and execution of the Company sales strategy Co-create impactful and compelling campaigns with our Partner Marketing and Events manager, to increase awareness on the market Work closely with other Team members and stakeholders (Account Managers, Pre-Sales and Marketing) Constantly develop new skills Readiness to travel

The OVHcloud market ecosystem as a whole, and the synergies involved: Go to market, segmentation, programs (partners, OpenTrustedCLoud, Start-ups), initiatives The added market value of your customers and how we can help them conquer new markets by leveraging our Cloud solutions & ecosystem Lead initiatives within the company / BU / team

Skills required :

Has at least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years in cloud services sales. Speaks English fluently (C1 level) Has a proven track record of closing deals with SMB’s and technology companies Is a strong individual contributor and a team player Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Has a can-do attitude Ability to propose new solutions and approaches, continuously seeking new market opportunities.

That's a plus :

Good understanding of the European cloud/IaaS/Paas market

Skills required :

Familiarity with major cloud platforms. Proven experience in sales strategies, lead generation and closing deals. Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets. Understanding of cloud market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market adoption of cloud services. Experience in setting and achieving sales targets and KPIs. Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience in consultative selling and understanding customer requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence decision-makers and stakeholders. Willingness to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry developments. Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
