The Abiomed team is actively seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager in Italy. We are searching for an individual who possesses exceptional leadership abilities, a strong sales and technical background, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of sales representatives and drive revenue growth in their assigned region. We are looking for someone who is strategic, results-oriented, and able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Main responsabilities:
• Direct the region's sales activities & develop Commercial and Clinical sales plan to fulfill the assigned growth and revenue goals of their region
• Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of the Company's products and services
• Set sales goals and forecasts and responsibility for hiring and training of new employees
• Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts
• Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales
• Handle difficult sales negotiations, especially with largest prospects
• Build relationships with critical decision makers and KOL'S in the assigned area
• Participate in scientific conferences, congresses and trade fairs in Germany/Europe and Global Sales Meetings
• Maintain business expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and represent the company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
• Ability to travel 80% within region required
