Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet.
Business Development Manager will be tasked to contribute to the significant growth of the Eurofins Forensic Services business – our start-up initiative in the Italian market. Responsibilities:
- Leading business development activities in the given territory based on the business strengths and needs unique to the region.
- Collaborating with the leadership on the strategy execution to meet the business growth objectives, structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.
- Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales.
- Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients.
- Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase brand visibility.
- Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends and major industry players.
- Performing other duties as required and assigned.
Education: Degree in life science is a plus but candidates from other academic fields will also be considered.
Experience: Experience in the forensic sector (genetics, toxicology...) and/or working with law enforcement forces, with at least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development.
Skills/abilities: Excellence in establishing and nurturing relationships combined with a customer-centric approach. Strong aggressive business development skills with a hunter mentality. Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good English skills (verbal and written). Secure use of IT solutions.
