POSITION SCOPE
CMG is looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to both existing and potential customers.

This position is an extension of the sales team and is a key component in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

As a CMG Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the liaison between our customers and internal sales, operations & finance departments.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a main point of contact for product information, quotations, order processing and/or troubleshooting
  • Resolve customer concerns by working with internal departments and external carriers and vendors
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of work and product pricing
  • Maintain knowledge of products and geographical locations of our customers across North America
  • Consistently achieve personal and team key performance indicators/goals
  • Assist with development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with customers in assigned sales territory to meet sales goals.
  • Cultivate new and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular communication.
  • Follow up on all inquiries, problems/solutions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in a Customer Service/ Sales environment is required
  • Wholesale, Freight/Distribution and/or Manufacturing industry experience is desired
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a huge plus
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both in verbal and written correspondence
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fastpaced work environment, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to both adapt to and facilitate change
  • Experience supporting Canadian customers is a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent
