Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of Power Controllers in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives business in South Europe Region.
Main customers are OEM's , System Integrators, End Users working with heating applications that require precise temperature control. The automation of this control helps to ensure the accuracy of the required temperatures and to optimize the energy used for the heating process, improving the efficiency of the raw materials used and reducing energy consumption. Moreover this role is integral part of ABBs global decarbonization strategy.

You will be mainly accountable for:

•Selling Power Controllers across Italy and South Europe regions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segment.

•Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.

•Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans, in case of any potential order shortfalls.

•Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.

You will join a dynamic and international team, where you will be able to thrive decarbonization and innovation.

Qualifications for the role
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in Power controllers products, working in heating applications
  • Availability to travel abroad (mainly in South Europe regions)
  • You are passionate about selling and building relationships with customers
  • Degree in Engineering (electro-mechanical field)
  • You are at ease communicating in English, Italian, Spanish (nice to have)
