For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, we are looking for a

Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy. The position will be home office-based. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.

Tasks
  • Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials.
  • Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Slovenia.
  • Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers.
  • Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions.
  • Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen.
  • Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager.
  • Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager.
  • You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
  • Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions.
  • Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers.
  • Follow up offers, payments, etc.
  • Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of Slovenian and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
  • You have a valid driving license Must have
