We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
  • Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Italy
  • Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
  • Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
  • Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
  • Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
  • Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Technology
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of Slovenian and English (fluent in spoken and written)
  • Must have a valid driving license
