Regional Account Manager – Rome, Private Sector Focus

Fortinet is seeking an ambitious and independent Regional Account Manager to cover Southern Italy, working closely with clients in the private sector. What You'll Do:

  • Strategise for Success: Create and implement strategic account plans to exceed your sales quota and drive enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and solutions.
  • Build Executive Relationships: Engage with key decision-makers and influencers in Commercial Accounts, leveraging relationships to drive growth and secure new business.
  • Orchestrate Resources: Coordinate with internal teams and partners to generate winning proposals, RFPs, and comprehensive service solutions.
  • Negotiate for Win-Win Outcomes: Lead contract negotiations to establish mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term partnerships.
  • Drive Collaboration: Work alongside account managers and internal teams to ensure the success of all territory activities.
  • Consistently Deliver: Build and maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline and provide exceptional service to all stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

  • Sales Experience: A proven track record in technology sales, particularly in selling solutions to SMB and Mid-Enterprise customers. Experience in network security is a plus.
  • Quota Achievement: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on strategic, results-driven outcomes.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with network security technologies, such as Firewall/VPN, AV, or IDS/IDP.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage both executives and technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication in Italian and English.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to craft tailored value-added solutions for clients.
  • Goal-Oriented Mindset: Motivated, strategic, and driven, with a natural ability to lead and inspire teams while delivering measurable results.
