All three operating segments work together to deliver attractive financial outcomes for our clients, and superior shareholder returns.Through our behaviours of telling it like it is, owning it now, and moving it forward together with care and integrity; we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent.We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer work place accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role.Events ExecuitvePurposeResponsible for the execution of European third party and proprietary events.Key ResponsibilitiesExecuting local proprietary events including conferences, roadshows, summer and winter parties with a focus on Italian events, supporting the European teamSupporting client visits to M&G's UK HeadquartersEnd to end delivery of third party events and trade showsManagement of internal events and offsites for global distribution alongside the UK Event Executive (Christmas parties, offsites, annual awards dinners)Work alongside Global Events Lead and Senior Event Manager to support the delivery of cross channel, flagship events that take place in LondonEvent support to include:Creation of event briefsSpeaker booking and Fund Manager liaisonVenue sourcing, liaison and bookingManagement and tracking of event budgets and invoice logsCreate holistic event communication plans and execute communication; including CRM management, creation of microsites and email creation through Eloqua ensuring all meet with industry policies and best practiceOn-site event delivery to the highest standards, dealing with any real-time issues effectivelyBooking speaker travel and accommodationCreating speaker itinerariesManaging all client transfers for global eventsPost-event evaluation including analysis, review and driving improvementStrong understanding of compliance requirements for event collateralEnsure that all event activities and comply with G&H requirements and local regulationKnowledge & ExperienceVery good English language skills essentialAdditional languages advantageous, particularly German, Spanish or FrenchExperienced events executive/coordinator - preferably within financial servicesProficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Salesforce, Teradata and Eloqua systemsRole AttributesAn ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines as well as an ability to prioritiseStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organisational skills and ability to multi-taskResilience and determination and an ability to think quickly to overcome problemsAccuracy and attention to detailFlexibility and willingness to travelAn adaptable approach to workQualificationsEducated to degree level or with relevant on the job training and experiencePersonal SkillsAttention to DetailAble to accurately compile and extract information from various data sourcesShows awareness and foresight when compiling and extracting dataIs meticulous to avoid careless errorsIs diligent in ensuring quality and accuracy of workPlanning & OrganisingManage time effectively taking account of prioritiesForecast and manage their workload to ensure deadlines are metPlan and prepare well in advanceAdopt an organised and systematic approach to their workAdapt flexibly and appropriately to changing circumstancesAble to reassess priorities in light of new changesPresent their work in a structured formatEnsure work is thorough and reviewedRelationship DevelopmentHas a positive attitudeAble to appropriately balance formal and informal communicationStrives to cooperate at all levelsConfident to question and confront issuesTreats everyone with respectRecruiter : Hannah CurtisWork Level : ColleagueLocation : MilanWe have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G plc, underpinned by our policies and our employee-led networks who provide networking opportunities, advice and support for the diverse communities our colleagues represent.
