Our client is a major European commodities trading company that is rapidly growing and operating globally with a broad range of products.
Trade Distribution Manager Italy We are looking for an expert who would play a key role in distribution of grains from Central-East Europe, Overseas markets and local production and who has a strong affinity with logistics and is able to develop a network of receivers and logistics service providers.
Responsibilities: Day-to-day trading / marketing of agricultural commodities (grains, corn) in Italy Support Trade Team in headquarters, setting up the proper strategy based on relevant S&D and market intel for the applicable region Development of sustainable customer portfolio, building and maintaining direct relationships with the final customers and be the first spokeperson for the company in Italy Initiate and implement Project/Business Development in line with company strategy Support on day to day basis Operational/Logistics and Finance departments Requirements: Min 5 years experience in agriculture trading, preferably from one of the local consumers or local or international traders Close connection to Italian market customers, connection to origination of eastern Europe markets and / or Seaborne markets.
Knowledgeable in Italian and English language Strong affinity with logistics Team Player Entrepreneurial mindset, good presentation skills Ability to travel within the region and to HQ in Germany on regular basis Preferred location from Rome to the north of the country.
