Italy (Sardinia): Business Development Manager Emerging Travel Group (ETG) is a travel-tech company. 12 years ago we exploded into the travel industry and today we have representatives in 24 countries around the world, giving our clients the ability to book travel services in 220 countries.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in Italy (Sardinia) to join our international B2B brand RateHawk, develop our business and make the travel world better together
RateHawk is an innovative B2B hotel booking engine developed by the Emerging Travel team. Our mission is to enrich everyone's travel experience around the world through cutting edge technology and excellent service.
Main responsibilities: Actively promote our international project in assigned territory;
Prospect, develop, and execute sales strategies to achieve targets, grow the business, and expand the presence in the territory;
Sign-up new partners and provide them with extended training of our system;
Initiate API deals with potential and existing partners;
Build and maintain a strong, long-lasting relationship with new and existing partners;
Follow-up with existing partners to provide system training and identify ways to improve cooperation;
Prepare, execute, and manage the commercial deals with partners including the execution of required document flow and technical setup;
Control compliance with commercial conditions by partners including the payment flow;
Account management of an assigned portfolio of partners including first level support;
Provide market & competitive environment analysis;
Our requirements: Relevant experience: Ideally, 2-5 years experience in the travel industry and excellent knowledge of the country's travel market; specialized in account management or business development of B2B travel companies;
Competence in API technology deals;
Personal skills: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with a fast-changing business environment, team player, used to data-driven decision-making;
International mindset: Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG's global presence;
Language knowledge: Fluent in Italian and English;
Readiness for business trips: 40 – 50% of working time might be required for market visits.
