Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing many aspects of a hotel's functions, Rooms, FB, and any other Operation related areas to ensuring a positive experience for all hotel guests.
The Operations manager lives the Hyatt values daily and cares for our people so they can be their best.
Reporting to the General Manager.Key Requirements:Strong leadership skillsHigh level of responsibility and accountabilityStrong management, communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Will primarily be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will enjoy the prospect of working in a fast-paced, busy working environment and, ideally, have experience in a busy 4* and/or 5* property.Developing and implementing strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guests' expectations.Coordinate operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service.Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the operations in the front and back of the house.Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.Work collaboratively with all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one another.Establish and maintain standards for staff performance and customer service.Manage budgets, control costs, optimize resource allocation.Maintain full knowledge of all inner workings of the hotel, including room rates, hotel policies, specials, availabilities, VIP guests, hotel events, and more.Review employee behavior, appearance, and performance.Conduct regular operations team meetings with all HODs daily/weekly to discuss routine.Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role in a 4/5-star property, with a strong background in FB.Excellent customer-focused manner at all times.Proactive positive attitude and must possess strong strategic thinking skills.The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.A good eye for detail and a desire to take responsibility, through to resolution, for issues.Passionate about standards and provision of excellence in hospitality.Hands-on mentality.Ability to apply a common-sense approach to problem-solving and foresight to anticipate and prevent problems developing.Flexibility with working hours is essential; presence on weekends is needed.Duty Manager shifts.High level of ethics, strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.Strong PC skills/MS Office.Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.Benefit:12 complimentary nights a year across Hyatt worldwide.Discounted hotel stays across Hyatt not just for you but also your family and friends from the day you start.Free meals on duty.50% discount when dining as a guest.Headspace membership and access to employee assistance program.Continuous learning and development with Hyatt worldwide and the MyLearning platforms.Annual welfare benefit.Single accommodation housing might be organized.L'offerta si intende rivolta a candidati ambosessi, nel rispetto del D.Lgs.
