Pfizer is hiring a talented, innovative, passionate Country Brand Lead (CBL) within the Inflammation & Immunology and Rare Disease Business Area - Site of Rome.

The hiring of the Gene Therapy CBL will provide a rare growth and development opportunity of preparing the Italian market for the launch of breakthrough therapies potentially transforming the lives of Rare Disease patients.

Country Brand Lead (CBL) will report to the Rare Disease and Gene Therapy Marketing Lead.

WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU
- The Gene Therapy portfolio has an exciting pipeline with 3 potential launches within the next few years. All the products represent significant therapeutic benefits to patients offering breakthrough innovations that address today’s high burden of treatment.
- The GTx CBL will be mainly focused on a new transformative and breakthrough Gene Therapy in the field of neuromuscular diseases and will play a strategic role in the environment shaping and in building the Infrastructure of Care across all the GTx portfolio.

KEY EXPERIENCE OFFER OF THIS ROLE
- There is no go-to-market playbook for GTx In addition to many of the conventional tasks that are needed for launch readiness, there are multiple unique GTx elements that need to be defined as we prepare for launch, such as ensuring the right infrastructure in the market, addressing policy issues, defining innovative payment models. This requires an integrated approach across all the launches, with major non-promotional, infrastructural work to be coordinated and advanced.
- Financial and business acumen: creating sustainable value, incorporating financial and analytical skills, while leading the Long-Range Forecast process.
- Leadership without authority: managing and inspiring stakeholders, leader of cross-functional team, primary contact reference for external partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Vision, Strategy, Execution to Optimize Growth
- Bring operational excellence to our Launch plan and execution
- Contribute to execution of key programs as per operating plans
- Deliver against Launch Readiness milestones
- Develop the Gene Therapy omnichannel strategy

Financial & Business Acumen
- Manage the planning, spending & controlling of budgets agreed for own areas of responsibility
- Input into country LRFs
- Monitoring performance vs KPIs as appropriate

Patients, Customers & Stakeholders Engagement
- Ensure that customer and patient insights and service needs as well as market issues are well understood and processed into the local and GLocal business plans
- Lead mapping and implementation of the Gene Therapy Infrastructure of Care to ensure smooth and frictionless adoption of Gene Therapies
- Conduct all activities and make all decisions in accordance with Pfizer regulations

Leadership
- Lead in-country cross functional team
- Manage relations with key internal & external stakeholders
- Ensure effective engagement and collaboration with Global brand teams

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic qualifications
- University Degree (scientific, economic)
- Deep knowledge of local pharmaceutical market and healthcare environment
- At least 5 years of experience in Brand Marketing or, as an alternative, in Access roles
- Strong financial, analytics and business acumen
- Proven record in project management and delivering on budget and time
- Relationship management: demonstrate track record of ability to influence others without authority
- Actively supports positive team culture
- Develops and champions new ideas and questions the status quo
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Must have excellent organization skills/ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of working collaboratively with others across functions
- Expertise in building multi-stakeholder partnerships & networks (internal & external)
- Has complete understanding of all relevant compliance laws, policies and processes
- Italian and English fluent

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the field of Rare Diseases
- Experience in launching new products
- Knowledge of P&R and purchasing processes
- Knowledge of pharma-economics and HTA principles
