Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team and actively contribute to the development of electronic boards from requirements definition to schematic entry. The successful candidate will work closely with the System, Manufacturing, and Mechanical engineering teams to support the full product development life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electronic boards from requirements to schematic definition, procedure management, and tests coordination.
  • Lead PCB outline, layer setup, component placement, and signal routing requirements for Power, Digital, and Mixed-Signals applications.
  • Interface with PCB services suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and space standards and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Hardware Engineers and the manufacturing team for development and sustaining of current products.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of work experience in space/automotive industries.
  • Experience with Altium designer tool.
  • Experience with Spice simulation tool.
  • Proficiency with state-of-the-art PCB design tools and methodology.
  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team and individually.
  • MSc degree in Electronics or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with high-speed, mixed-signals, and power conversion design.
  • Proficient in using electronic lab instruments.
  • Knowledge of common electronic interfaces.
  • Proficient with common ECSS standard electronic analyses.
  • Knowledge of ECSS PCB mastering rules.

Language

This role requires professional proficiency in English and Italian.
