Ovrsea is a pioneering freight forwarder revolutionizing international transportation. We're expanding our reach in Italy and seeking a driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Intern.
About the RoleWe offer a competitive internship salary of €20,000 per year, plus benefits. Our beautiful office in Milan provides an excellent work environment, and you'll have the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. As a Business Development Intern, you'll play a crucial role in driving growth in Italy by connecting with C-level prospects, setting up impactful demos, and reporting to our BDR Team Lead.
Responsibilities- Develop effective strategies to engage prospects (20% of time)
- Pursue leads through phone calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach (70%)
- Log insights and best practices in our CRM for team-wide benefit (10%)
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A native Italian speaker with fluent English skills
- Recent graduation or soon-to-be graduate from a business school or university (Master's degree preferred)
- Sales experience in SaaS B2B or logistics (a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- A proactive approach with a 'no' mentality and a passion for learning about international trade
You'll be part of a dynamic team that contributes directly to 90% of new customer closures, making your work vital to our success. Hands-on mentorship and tailored onboarding will lay a strong foundation for your career. As a former Business Development Intern, you can fast-track your career to roles like Account Executive or Account Manager.
