Project Leader

As a Project Leader at Italdesign, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from start to finish. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives;
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met;
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments as necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and team members;
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks;
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvements and cost savings;
  • Develop and implement project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success;
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment and effective communication;
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes;
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the required quality standards;
  • Identify and address any project issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner;
  • Develop and implement a project closure process to ensure that all project activities are properly closed out and documented.


Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects from start to finish;
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret technical requirements and specifications;
  • Ability to travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays;
  • Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Italian and basic German would be appreciated (with willingness to improve).


Preferential Requirements:
  • Previous experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project;
  • Knowledge of conflict management and negotiation techniques;
  • Ability to think innovatively and outside the box;
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Other Information:

Education: Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrics, Human-Computer and Human-machine Interaction or related fields).

Language Skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level); knowledge of Italian and basic German would be appreciated (with willingness to improve).
