Position: Sales Business Systems Analyst

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC, US, 27709

Overview:

The Sales Business Systems Analyst at NetApp plays a crucial role in enhancing and supporting the global business processes and systems related to sales. This position requires a blend of technical skills and functional expertise to assess, design, and implement systems and procedures that align with business user needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to grasp business requirements and work with IT development to deliver automated solutions. A strong understanding of business process challenges and the ability to convey technical solutions to internal stakeholders is vital for success in this role. Effective project management and a focus on customer service are key components of this position. You will serve as a primary IT liaison for the business, working closely with various IT teams, including Enterprise Architecture, Business Analytics, Business Application Delivery, and Foundational Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with users to define processes that align with business goals.
  • Ensure processes are adaptable and scalable to meet evolving business demands.
  • Design processes that minimize disruption to existing systems while being cost-effective.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs affected by process modifications.
  • Evaluate proposed changes to ensure they represent the best fit for the organization.
  • Manage user story creation, execution, and team coordination.
  • Define IT requirements to support process and system enhancements.
  • Co-facilitate design sessions to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT development teams to oversee the development process and address issues.
  • Prepare and implement testing plans to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Identify new or improved capabilities to align with future process objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of key go-to-market processes and capabilities, including Opportunity Management, Deal Registration, Channel and Partner Enablement, Account Management, Pipeline Management, and Forecasting.
  • Experience with Sales Applications such as SFDC, Anaplan, Oracle CPQ, and Analytics Platforms.
  • Proven experience in business partnership, successfully driving cross-functional initiatives and projects.
  • Ability to conduct feasibility studies, functional/technical gap analysis, and map business requirements to solution design.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies, including user story writing and grooming processes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and technical leads to understand the current application landscape and drive the implementation of comprehensive solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical decision-making skills.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Experience with major Sales CRM and Q2I platforms, along with supporting tools.
  • 8-10 years of information technology experience, with at least 6-8 years in the Sales Domain.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $162,000 - $195,000, determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education. Compensation packages are competitive and include a comprehensive benefits package.
