About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the growth and profitability of the business for all the Bioprocessing Upstream and Consumables customer segments in the EMEA South Zone.

As the EMEA Upstream and Consumables South Zone Lead, you will be responsible for providing sales leadership and direction to the EMEA Sales Specialist in the respective modality in the South Zone to meet/exceed annual sales and order budgets and ensure sustained growth & profitability.

The role involves strategic planning, managing people and collaborations across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the EMEA Upstream and Consumables South Zone with the respective direct reports to meet or exceed zone targets assigned by the Bioprocessing commercial lead.
  • Support the EMEA Bioprocessing Zone account managers in contributing information to sales strategies and account plans with the Upstream and Consumables sector.
  • Through critical insight on customer bioprocess projects and manufacturing and market insights, support the team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers' expectations and expand the Upstream and Consumables business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts.
  • Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to the sales team and provide feedback to her/his the respective line manager and other colleagues as appropriate on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the zone.
  • Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development of direct reports.

What You'll Need:

15 years commercial experience in the Biotechnology/Biopharma industry.

Fluency in English + fluency in 1 other language (Italian, French or Spanish).

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
