Position Overview

Role Objective

The Team Manager (TM) plays a crucial role in enhancing store performance to exceed sales targets and objectives, with a primary emphasis on team leadership and growth.
Engaging directly on the sales floor, the TM is an energetic and motivating leader, possessing a robust background in retail and exceptional interpersonal skills, both with the team and clientele.
The TM is tasked with ensuring that the team embodies a culture of outstanding service and client engagement, acting as a brand ambassador for Gucci by upholding its core values.

Team Development

Foster a constructive and professional team atmosphere that encourages trust, integrity, and high performance, leading by example. The TM will maintain close contact with the team and daily operations while working on the sales floor. Offer continuous support and constructive feedback to client advisors to enhance their growth, motivation, and sense of community. Conduct regular performance discussions to review outcomes and formulate action plans. Provide immediate coaching to ensure a consistent client experience. Engage in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding a high-caliber team. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Human Resources to address employee relations matters for effective resolution. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures by team members.

Client Engagement

Inspire and guide the team in delivering an exceptional client experience, instilling a hospitality-oriented mindset. Cultivate a client engagement approach aimed at building enduring relationships with customers. Oversee the implementation of clienteling initiatives with the store team, developing strategies to achieve goals and KPIs. Exhibit leadership by actively participating on the sales floor.

Product Management

Assess the performance of designated product categories and proactively suggest action plans to meet targets. Collaborate with the Merchandising team to provide valuable insights on products, inventory status, and specific store requests to drive business growth. Work alongside the Visual Merchandising team to maximize category potential while ensuring the store's image aligns with brand guidelines. Ensure the team acquires comprehensive product knowledge through targeted training, while remaining informed about market trends and competitors.
