To manage properly all activities related to the Front Office Department, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out hotel guests in a timely fashion
  • Processing all payments according to established procedures
  • Providing information on hotel services and room locations
  • Up-selling rooms when possible to maximize hotel revenue
  • Accurately processing all cash and credit card transactions
  • Communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management
  • Responding appropriately to guest complaints

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are looking for candidates who are available to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Fluency in English is required, and other languages are preferred. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a hotel or resort, is essential. Passion for hospitality and strong interpersonal skills are also highly valued.

Meliá offers a competitive salary of $25,000-$35,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy flexible remuneration options, exclusive discounts on products and services, and opportunities for career growth and development.
