Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to join our EMEA Global Sales team in Milan. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing Key Accounts strategies to influence and maximize profitable NXP sales at leading Industrial & Automotive customers in Italy in the strategic growth areas of Electrical/Electronics, UWB, Electrification & Vehicle Connectivity, Factory Automation, Power & Energy, Home & Building Automation.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and execute Key Accounts strategies to influence and maximize profitable NXP sales at leading Industrial & Automotive customers in Italy.
- Identify concrete areas of cooperation working with NXP experts and translate these into contracts which you will negotiate towards a win-win outcome with your customers.
- Develop appropriate system proposals. This involves close cooperation and communication with NXP's sales and field application engineering teams as well as intensive communication with the responsible NXP business lines.
- Drive new product definition together with the customer and the respective NXP Business Lines to secure NXP's long-term success in this key market segment.
- Understand the customer's vision and strategy, opportunities and issues, short and long term.
- Understand formal & informal hierarchy, decision-makers, and collect insights at the customer.
- Establish and develop strategic relationships within the account at all management levels.
- Be measured on the growth of NXP sales and new design wins in your territory.
- Electrical engineering degree or similar. Knowledge about Electronic/Semiconductor products in the Automotive &/or Industrial environment and their usage in these fields.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in semiconductor technical sales or field applications engineering.
- Customer and business focus. Flexibility, motivation, and networking ability are requested for this position at all management levels.
- Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner.
- Analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and communicate these internally to relevant Business Lines.
- Proven track record of success in a challenging business environment.
- Ability to maintain technical expertise/competence with the ever-changing technology.
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both Italian and English.
- Team player in a global and multi-cultural environment.
