At Belmond, we are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at our refined Ristorante La Terrazza or the new Pool Grill. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, comfortable with challenges, and has exemplary customer service skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparing specific food items such as pastries, chocolates, etc.
  • Following directions provided by the Pastry Chef
  • Collaborating with the rest of the Kitchen team to ensure high-quality food
  • Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary
  • Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station
  • Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury restaurant
  • Basic knowledge of cooking styles, equipment, and raw materials processing techniques
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally
  • Good communication skills

We offer a seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Chef de Partie Pastry, with a monthly gross salary around €2,250, separate payslip for 13°, 14° and TFR, Monthly welfare incentive based on quality goals + welcome bonus, Accommodation in our staff house including breakfast, Bus ticket as benefit for the contract period, staff canteen, and Discovering Belmond programme.
