Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Director to lead our marketing function, driving strategic initiatives and operational execution. This role requires a hands-on leader who can join our team of practitioners at the leadership level, bringing a wealth of experience from a senior marketing execution role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Lead the marketing function, developing and executing the overall marketing strategy.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction for all marketing activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Operational and Hands-On Execution
    • Be actively involved in the day-to-day marketing operations.
    • Develop and manage the company's website, ensuring it is optimized for lead generation and user experience.
    • Create and manage high-quality content that drives engagement and supports lead generation efforts.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
    • Develop and execute targeted ABM campaigns to drive enterprise-level lead generation.
    • Utilize data and analytics to identify key accounts and tailor marketing efforts to their specific needs.
  • Event Leadership and Lead Generation
    • Plan and execute events that enhance the company's brand and generate leads.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, driving engagement and lead generation.
  • Creative Budget Management
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Implement creative and cost-effective marketing strategies to maximize impact with a small budget.
  • Team Building and Management
    • Build and lead an internal marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
    • Avoid reliance on external agencies and consultants, focusing on internal capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 year in a senior marketing execution role.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with website management and content creation.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise-targeted account-based marketing and lead generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead events and drive leads through creative and effective strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering results with limited resources.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
