Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager Italy

Join Bacardi-Martini as a Commercial Finance Manager in Italy and take on a challenging role that requires strong analytical and leadership skills. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial performance analysis and business partner support to the Commercial Team and relevant Cluster and Country teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive results excellence in execution by providing timely analysis on top-line and Gross Profit performance, promotional activity analysis/ROI, and customer/Country/CBU Profit Loss (PL).
  • Support commercial teams with management/control of pricing, discounts, and trade spend opportunities and effectiveness.
  • Lead the financial budgeting and planning process for the commercial team, ensuring that pricing, discount, and Trade spends are reflected accurately and are executed according to plan.
  • Identify, evaluate, and communicate risks and opportunities to the business in a timely manner.
  • Continuously look to reduce complexity and simplify our processes across planning, reporting, performance measurement, and including how we use our supporting systems and tools (i.e., SAP, BI, Anaplan, etc.) to drive greater focus on value-added business partnering.
  • Work closely with the regional Integrated Business Planning (IBP/Anaplan) team to address challenges and find optimizations in the use of the Anaplan system.
  • Build and foster solid business partnering relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide expertise to Regional/Cluster Commercial Teams on all financial aspects of the Commercial plans.
  • Provide stewardship of the Financial Commercial strategy as executed within the Region/Cluster within your geography.
  • Provide execution and financial analysis of the Sales Operations (SOP) process.
  • Active participation in the Regional Sales Decision Support network team.
  • Ensure that our commitments under the Brown Forman cost share agreement are fully met, including provision of timely Financial data, Risk Opportunities assessment, management of the Commercial Planning process, assistance with general PL brand/Anaplan queries, and SOP process insight.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record of performance and delivery within Finance in a Consumer goods company, with multiple years of delivery in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly within a matrix organization.
  • Strong customer focus with an external outlook.
  • Solid experience of managing a PL, forecasting, RoI calculations, Excise Duty impacts, risk management, Price structures, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with ambiguity, able to take complex ideas and summarize into concise insights and recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, able to influence comfortably with senior leaders and motivate change.
  • Able to think strategically and understand the business and Category drivers well.
  • High-energy with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • A change agent - continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, Simplify, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Process-focused with an understanding of end-to-end business processes and their financial impacts.
  • Ability to identify root cause issues and develop plans to resolve.
  • Skilled at organizing and prioritizing multiple projects and resource constraints to optimize results.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop winning teams.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including Excel (Pivots, Vlookup, Conditional Functions, etc.), data collection, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Spirits Industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in additional functions beyond the ones listed above.
  • BA in Finance, Accounting, Business (or equivalent).
  • Accounting qualification.
