Role Overview

Within the Vodafone Business Technology Solutions (VBTS) division, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the advancement of operational teams through a data-centric methodology. This individual will spearhead a specialized group dedicated to enhancing systems, processes, and tools aimed at achieving greater automation and simplification.

Primary Responsibilities and Authority


• Formulate and implement a data-driven strategy and guidelines to consistently monitor key assurance metrics

• Lead proactive analyses and identify anomalies

• Define automation processes for assurance workflows

• Establish requirements for tools and systems across Enterprise Operations

• Supervise Health & Safety processes and partner audits

• Evaluate products for Cyber Security compliance in line with ISO standard frameworks

• Define service models for significant deals

• Manage demand, control costs, and realize savings through optimization

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience


• Demonstrated expertise (minimum of 5 years) in automation processes

• Proficient in data analysis

• Data-driven mindset with a focus on change management

• Basic programming knowledge is advantageous

Required Technical and Professional Qualifications


• Experience in team leadership

• Background in process management and assurance processes

• Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms (VIPATH, BLUEPRISM)

• Knowledge of AI and ML applications

• Proficient in Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, QLIK, CELONIS)

• Experience in budget oversight

• An Engineering degree is preferred

Performance Metrics


• The candidate will be accountable for the primary KPIs of the team related to service assurance

• Responsible for minimizing incoming issues

• Accountable for cost savings achieved through automation and the development of new software solutions
