Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure & Network Advisor - Active Directory and Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing Active Directory services and the Microsoft 365 suite. The ideal candidate will have an excellent and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure services and be able to ensure the maximum support and performance of both environments through the application of technological best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active Directory Management: Set up and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including domain controllers, forests, domains, sites, and replication.
  • User Account Management: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams).
  • Group Policy Management: Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs), logon scripts, policies, preferences, and configurations within Active Directory environments.
  • Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS): Implement single sign-on (SSO), identity federation, authentication, and access control across organizational boundaries and cloud services.
  • Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS): Implement lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) directories, applications, and directory-enabled applications without the overhead of a full directory service.
  • Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS): Manage digital certificates, public key infrastructures (PKIs), certificate templates, enrollment services, and certificate revocation lists (CRLs) within Active Directory environments.
  • Active Directory Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, authentication, DNS, trusts, schema, database, service failures, and other AD components.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Active Directory backups, restores, disaster recovery, authoritative and non-authoritative restores, backup schedules, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitoring and Security: Monitor Active Directory performance, security, compliance, and anomalies using monitoring tools, event logs, performance counters, health checks, auditing policies, and reporting.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Configure and manage SSO solutions using Azure AD, federated identities, identity providers, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for secure and seamless access to Microsoft cloud services.
  • Guest Access: Enable, manage, and control guest access to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and other collaboration tools within the Microsoft tenant.
  • Security Policies: Configure and manage security policies, controls, conditional access, identity protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and threat protection features within Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
  • Compliance Management: Understand compliance requirements, regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), data governance, retention policies, eDiscovery, audit logs, and compliance manager tools within the Microsoft tenant.
  • Azure Resources: Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and other services within the Azure portal and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
  • Microsoft 365 Resources: Manage Microsoft 365 resources, licenses, subscriptions, services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform), configurations, and settings within the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Microsoft Teams: Manage Microsoft Teams settings, policies, channels, meetings, collaboration features, integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a complex multinational environment
  • Fluent in English language
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
