As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management. Your primary focus will be on ensuring best-in-class data integrity, system tools, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creation in our systems.
- Collaborate with the profit team to implement vendor pricing strategies and manage exceptions and corrective actions.
- Manage the ship and debit process in conjunction with the central team in Barcelona.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure seamless operations.
- Partner with Business Intelligence to produce sales out reports and develop execution plans based on findings.
- Monitor and maintain quarterly Gross Profit (GP) absolute and percentage quality targets.
- Establish and maintain operational relationships with vendor peers to discuss future products, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Contribute to the automation, streamlining, and improvement of integrated end-to-end processes.
- Support the sales floor with pricing, ship and debit, and general product queries and order management.
- Degree or high school diploma in a business-related subject is desirable.
- Commercial or product experience, preferably in a technology business.
- Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with English as the primary language.
- Distribution or vendor experience would be beneficial.
- A strong understanding of product and technology portfolios.
- Knowledge of the IT industry, including channels, vendors, programs, and competition.
- E-business systems expertise.
- Highly numerate and skilled in time management and prioritization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with working knowledge of Outlook.
- Customer-focused, with initiative, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
