About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our Marketing team at Virtuagym. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our global PR and Communication strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement PR Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive PR plans that support our marketing goals and enhance our brand visibility.
  • Global Messaging and Positioning: Develop Virtuagym's global messaging and positioning, and localize it in our core markets in collaboration with our Country Directors.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers in the fitness industry to secure media coverage and promote our company's story.
  • Press Releases and Media Pitches: Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials that effectively communicate our brand message.
  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft compelling stories that help establish Virtuagym as a thought leader among its target audiences.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect and manage our brand reputation in times of controversy or crisis.
  • PR Campaign Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and media coverage, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Requirements
  • PR and Comms Experience: 3+ years of experience in PR and Comms, either in-house or in an agency environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fitness industry, including current trends and media landscape.
  • Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication and writing skills. German, Spanish, or Dutch is a huge plus.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to write appealing content for prospects and customers and express yourself to different stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks, and get things done.
  • Adaptability: Ability to improvise, think creatively, and be an enthusiastic problem solver, coming up with creative and unorthodox ideas to engage prospects.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical and data-driven with an openness to change course as needed based on consistent measurement and tracking.
