Astellas Europe: Global Industrial and Labor Relations Strategic Lead

At Astellas Europe, we are dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and promoting excellence in employee relations. We are seeking an experienced Global Industrial and Labor Relations Strategic Lead to join our team.

  1. Develop and implement an effective ER/ILR strategy, focusing on employee engagement, organizational change, and litigation risk mitigation.
  2. Plan and coordinate consultation activities related to large-scale organization changes, technology updates, and global initiatives with ILR teams and social partners.
  3. Coordinate internal and external insights to inform ER strategy development, employment policies, and guidance, ensuring successful implementation of HR policy and process changes.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in ILR to enhance ER program effectiveness and relevance.
  5. Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the Global Industrial and Labor Relations team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Global Industrial and Labor Relations.
  • Solid experience developing and implementing ER strategies across diverse geographical regions and managing complex ER issues in multinational organizations.
  • Deep understanding of international labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading a global team of employee relations professionals, fostering positive workplace dynamics, and ensuring compliance across regions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with different stakeholders at all levels.
