About the Role

We are seeking an HR Business Partner - Retail to join our team at Sephora. As an HR Business Partner - Retail, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the People Excellence strategy in order to achieve business objectives in our retail function organization. You will facilitate the change, support Talent and Managers in developing and deploying strategic human resources programs and practices, and provide guidance to Area Managers and Store Managers on people management and labor law standards. You will also handle issue-solving and labor law standard respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Management
  1. Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps, and create a plan to address them using talent management tools and resources.
  2. Facilitate, execute, and/or participate in Talent Reviews/Succession Planning roundtables for business partners, leading the entire process across the business unit/function as required.
HR Initiatives
  1. Translate business unit strategy and create short and mid-term business unit specific HR initiatives in support of the business strategy for assigned clients.
Area Management
  1. Support Area Managers in defining a people strategy within the area, coherent with the vision of the company.
Recruitment
  1. Define recruitment needs in cooperation with the Area Manager and set the proper strategy.
Communication and Conflict Resolution
  1. Monitor 'climate' on the network, identifying any potential environment issue, and guaranteeing maintenance of consistency and fairness within different areas.
  2. Lead the communication flows between Area Managers, Stores, and the HR Department.
  3. Supervise the respect of existing policies and coordinate with Area Manager any disciplinary actions required.
Training and Development
  1. Support the implementation of business unit specific development strategies.
  2. Drive or coordinate the delivery of existing programs or development of new solutions to close gaps and build bench strength.
Change Management
  1. Embodies the Sephora values and act as Sephora Ambassador.
  2. Promotes, implements, communicates activities, policies, regulations, and standards related to occupational, health, and safety issues.
  3. Acts as change agent.

Requirements

  • Three or four years of experiences in HR or similar role.
  • Experienced in leading and managing different people in different areas.
  • Experienced in Assessment center and other recruiting tools.
  • English (mandatory).
