Medical Sales Representative Hematology Expert

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our medicinal products to healthcare professionals and members of the healthcare community within legal and ethical boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain valuable business relationships with key decision makers in priority accounts
- Develop insights-based account plans for all top accounts/treatment centres, including key decision maker prioritization and in-depth situational analysis
- Set clear strategic objectives and develop account win-win value propositions based on regional situational analysis and customer insights
- Leverage company expertise cross-functionally to define operational plans and tackle account-level priorities
- Lead development and implementation of customer-focused and patient-centered tactics and activities within the territory, in partnership with internal stakeholders and teams
- Self-dependent planning, organization, and execution of multiple digital activities for optimal customer experience and engagement
- Collaborate with Market Access experts to support local hospital funding processes
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in a scientific or related field
- 6+ years of sales experience preferably in specialty/orphan drug area
- Track record of achievement managing sales territory in a highly specialized area of medicine
- Established industry network and relationships within territory
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Influential presentation style with demonstrated ability to uncover and address customer needs and effectively manage customer concerns and questions
- Sales-driven approach with strong business acumen and analytical thinking
The salary range for this position is approximately €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. AstraZeneca offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and opportunities for career growth and development.
