The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team in Bari. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for promoting our event spaces, driving meaningful partnerships, and orchestrating impactful events with our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively engaging with potential clients and partners, conducting tours and presentations to showcase the benefits of our ecosystem.
  • Space Management and Supplier Supervision: Direct day-to-day operations, oversee suppliers, ensure a top-notch environment, and take the lead on seamless opening and closing procedures.
  • Event Coordination: Co-create engaging experiences and seamlessly coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure event readiness.
  • Onboarding and Tech Guidance: Take charge of onboarding new community members and visitors, from crafting badges to providing tech guidance for a smooth daily experience.
  • Data Records and Management: Organize records with precision, extract insights, and collaborate with the Sales team for accuracy in sales initiatives.
  • Challenge Resolution: Tackle daily issues with the Community Manager, fostering a positive environment and co-working vibe for everyone.

About You

  • Experience: You bring at least one year of expertise in sales and events and hospitality – experience within the dynamic startup sector would be a great plus.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: You are familiar with the key players and interesting companies in the Bari area, relevant for networking and collaboration.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: You keep the customer at the forefront, exhibiting an exceptional customer-oriented approach.
  • Engaging Speaker and Attentive Listener: You command attention through skilled public speaking and impeccable communication finesse, elevating your sales prowess.
  • Versatile Team Contributor: You fearlessly handle responsibilities in dynamic settings, adeptly combining organizational skills with teamwork, ensuring a focused approach to achieve objectives.
  • Tech-Savvy Operator: You effortlessly navigate the digital landscape, showcasing mastery of IT tools (G-Suite, Excel, Notion, etc.) while committing to continuous learning.
  • Passion and Curiosity Advocate: You infuse passion and curiosity into every task, from the minutiae to strategic initiatives.
  • Bilingual Communicator: You have a native level of Italian and full proficiency in both oral and written English.
  • Bari-Based: You live and breathe the vibrant Bari environment and can easily reach our Campus.
