Sales Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in a leading company within the test and measurement industry. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be a strong contributor collaborating closely with colleagues from various business functions.
We are currently looking for a sales engineer within our team in Italy, based in Milano or Torino. Your role will be primarily focused on data acquisition, software, sensors, and services in targeted at automotive, aerospace, and industry applications.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the Mechanical field and excellent commercial understanding. You will join our dedicated sales team supporting the Italian regional business and become part of the Italian and Spanish sales team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Visiting potential/existing customers and generating enquiries through professional sales techniques
- Using appropriate hardware, information, and materials
- Acquiring new customers and supporting colleagues with specific product and technical knowledge
- Preparing quotations using CRM and price lists
- Preparing more detailed proposals from tender specifications
- Providing feedback to the company in the form of reports and forecasts
- Actively contributing during departmental meetings
- Involvement in promotional and marketing activities in your area

- General shared team activities in Italy
