Sales Specialist IT

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and having general conversations around solutions and products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales processes and be able to effectively communicate with customers to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities- Develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Engage in active inside selling by using various sources to gain information on customers and maximize call potential and outcomes
- Manage customer backorders and engage in intelligent project fishing
- Manage projects end-to-end or hand over to pre-sales for technical requirements
- Provide, sell, and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions
- Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers
- Attain key performance indicators such as customer engagement
- Develop partner relationships, including account planning and cross-selling
- Identify project opportunities and engage with BDMs if specific product or vendor knowledge is required
- Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required
- Provide accurate and timely quotations
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system
- Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting
- 2-3 years of experience in sales or a related field
- Numerate with good attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills
- Priority management and planning skills
- Strive to achieve set targets
- Understands sales processes
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience with IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM
- IT industry knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Hybrid work arrangement (2 days at the office, 3 days at home)
