About the Role

Serco is seeking an experienced End-to-End Technical Coordinator to join our international team in Frascati, Rome. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive technical aspects of the Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) of ESA Earth Explorers missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the correct functioning of the processing chain on a day-to-day basis.
  • Coordinate and monitor PDGS incidents, problems, maintenance, and evolution.
  • Oversee PDGS end-to-end performances and assess potential impact on other service functions.
  • Ensure incidents are addressed and resolved in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Oversee the Change management process and organize regular meetings with ESA and Industries to report on PDGS status, incidents, and problems resolution.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and team management.
  • Excellent knowledge of data processing chain preferably related to the Earth Observation Ground Segments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and share/acquire knowledge.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Knowledge of Earth Observation missions and their operational context.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in drafting and editing complex technical reports.
  • Experience in Documentation Review.
