We are actively seeking a proficient and motivated End2End Technical Coordinator to enhance our international team in Frascati, Rome. This role encompasses comprehensive oversight and management of the Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) for ESA Earth Explorers missions. A profound understanding of the Core PDGS is essential. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for the Service Team, ESA, and external stakeholders. The E2E Technical Coordinator will play a crucial role in supervising essential activities, including the evaluation of end-to-end performance and its implications for all services within the PDGS. This position requires close collaboration with the PDGS Ground Segment Manager, taking charge of the incident management process, overseeing change management, and organizing meetings with the Service Team, ESA, and industry partners to report on PDGS status and address any incidents or issues.
Key Responsibilities
As an End2End Technical Coordinator, your focus will include:
Daily oversight of the processing chain's operational integrity. Coordination and monitoring of PDGS incidents, challenges, maintenance, and advancements. Supervision of PDGS end-to-end performance metrics. Evaluation and mitigation of potential impacts on other service functions. Management of the incident resolution process, ensuring compliance with established SLAs. Oversight of the change management process. Facilitation of regular meetings with ESA and industry stakeholders to report: Issues encountered during the reporting period along with lessons learned. Performance outcomes achieved during the current period and recommendations for improvement if necessary. Scheduled changes and advancements affecting PDGS components. Provision of technical support for assessing potential developments within the Ground Segment.In terms of Service Setup:
Coordination of End-to-End PDGS processes, documentation, and tools. Validation and coordination of the transition to operations. Collaboration with relevant validation services and operational teams to prepare, plan, and execute the transition to operations for all PDGS elements and processor upgrades.Ideal Candidate Profile

Mandatory skills and experience include:
A university degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in project and team management. Strong understanding of data processing chains, preferably related to Earth Observation Ground Segments. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and share knowledge. A proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with Earth Observation missions and their operational context. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Experience in drafting and editing complex technical documentation. Background in documentation review.-
