About This Role

This exciting opportunity exists within our international sales organization, focusing on expanding Rockwell Automation's presence globally. As a Global OEM Account Manager, you will represent our comprehensive product and solution portfolio to key customers, fostering trust-based relationships and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strong partnerships with principal customer sponsors to formalize relationship expectations.
  • Identifying new opportunities for growth and collaboration with the Global Account.
  • Promoting business expansion through indirect management of extended teams, resulting in a balanced selling effort across multiple customer levels.
  • Participating in the Global Account's design, manufacturing, and implementation teams to provide critical information at an early stage.
  • Fostering global growth by working closely with the Global Account to expand Rockwell Automation's presence, delivering value across geographic boundaries.

You will report directly to the Global OEM Director, Hybrid, and may work remotely from Italy or Sweden. This role offers a unique chance to model the capabilities of an Executive Sales Professional, mentoring colleagues and ensuring the Global Account has access to all necessary resources.

The Essentials

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or more than 8 years of prior experience in technical sales.
  • Legal authorization to work in Europe, as we do not sponsor employment visas for this position.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customers.
The Preferred

In addition to the essentials, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, machine building, systems integration, or an engineering firm.
  • Applied experience in areas related to selling from within the Rockwell Automation organization or similar industries: controls and automation solutions, information solutions, complex system/solution experience, manufacturing operations experience.
  • Sales experience with senior management and executive levels, conveying Rockwell Automation's products & services in a manner demonstrating tangible economic value.
  • Global sales experience.
  • Industry experience in the following: Industry 4.0, Internet of Things technologies, Software, Annual Recurring Revenue.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a matrix organization.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your background and experience.
