About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our Italian Sales Team at NTT DATA. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Client Managers and driving sales growth through effective sales strategies and coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a local sales strategy that aligns with the regional organisational sales plan.
  • Define sales targets and objectives for the Client Managers and provide coaching and support to ensure they meet these targets.
  • Ensure sales procedures and policies are implemented and followed by the sales team.
  • Drive alignment to sales and organisational strategies by creating operational plans and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the sales process.
  • Engage in account planning and assist Client Managers in opportunity qualification for large or complex deals.
  • Collaborate with account teams to leverage NTT DATA capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to assist Client Managers and the sales team in setting and achieving priority activities.
  • Take final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales systems, sales reports, and sales forecast.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
  • Extended relevant experience in similar roles within the ICT market, preferably in system integration business.
  • Strong experience in managing and coaching sales teams.
  • Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Able to work in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
  • Business acumen.
  • Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
